The recipe for making Indian Pudding is as follows:First,Pour 1/4 corn meal,a little at a time,into 2 cups of hot milk,Then,**** over low heat or in the top of a double boiler,stirring constantly,for 15 minutes until it is thick and then remove from heat,After That,Mix together 1/4 cup sugar,1/8 teaspoon baking soda,1/2 teaspsoon salt,1/2 teaspoon ginger,and1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon,then pour into the corn-meal mixture,Next,Add 1/4 cup molasses and 1 cup cold milk,mixing thoroughly.Then,Pour into 1-quart casserole and bake in preheated 275 degree F oven for 2 hours,After That,Serve warm with whipped cream and a light sprinkling of freshly grated nutmeg,Finally,Serves 6 to 8,It is also preferable to serve it with vanilla ice cream
